Insider Secrets of Treating Damaged Hair from My Personal Hair Stylist

You always wanted to have straight and healthy Jennifer Aniston hair style, but all you have is overprocessed, highly damaged tresses that stick out in all directions? Learn how to eliminate all your hair problems in a fraction of time

?I wish I had shiny and silky hair like Jennifer Aniston.? -- How many times have you thought about this, too? It has become almost impossible for me to go past a salon or a shop without taking a glance at the hair care products and procedures available in these places.

I?ve read hundreds of pages and scanned tons of literature concerning hair care to discover some secret ways to fix poor health of my hair. But it all turned out to be much easier than I thought.

Of course, there are many sources of hair damage, but as I?ve finally discovered - the main damage to my hair I caused myself. To my great relief most of it I was able to eliminate without cutting my hair off.

So, now I want to share with you the list of the most popular causes of the hair damage, and the ways to fix them to have a hair style you really want: straight, shiny, and healthy just like Jennifer Aniston has!

Cause 1: Constant Change of Shampoo

Without realizing it, I caused serious damage to my hair by changing shampoos every time I read about new product. I thought that it would help my hair become healthier.

As I discovered later, constant change of shampoos causes serious shock to our hair. Far from revitalizing it, I made my hair exhausted by stress!

After realizing what damage I caused to my hair, I took my favorite ARTec shampoo and stuck to it. The results were really great. My hair became smoother, shinier, and healthier.

Cause 2: Use of Conditioner

When I first found out about conditioner I thought that I need not use it. Why? I plaited my long hair then, so there was no problem with styling. But when I?ve made a haircut, I learned everything about frizz and tangles.

Mechanical damage from tangles, frizzes, and constant brushing leads to breakage of hair. Conditioner helps to smooth the hair cuticle and close hair scales, which prevents loosing moisture and hair becoming brittle.

So, I?ve started using conditioner every time I washed my hair. In a fraction of time tangles and frizzes vanished and never came back!

Cause 3: Heat Application and Blow Drying

Whenever you apply heat, you risk to over dry hair. I used to blow dry my hair with the hottest set, because I wanted to save my time. As a result, my hair became brittle and porous.

After studying the problem, my stylist advised me to use leave-in products, as they help to overcome the problem of hair losing moisture.

I also started to use ceramic flat iron instead of old fashioned iron straightener. Together with the leave-in products it helped to moisturize my hair leaving it silky and smooth, with all hair scales tightly closed, keeping precious moisture inside.

Cause 4: Using Chemicals

I used to do coloring often as I usually couldn?t decide what hair color I wanted. Once or twice I?ve done a relaxing to make my hair straighter, so that I could have the pin straight hair style I like.

But the results of such experiments turned out rather nasty and unhealthy to my hair. It became more coarse and brittle. The dyes turned out not the color painted on the box, but rather funny, like black instead of brown, or light chocolate instead of dark blond.

So, when I visited the stylist, I was told to stop applying any chemicals, including dyes, to my hair until I see that it becomes healthier and more alive.

I made a trim, bought another bottle of leave-in to improve the state of hair roots, and in half a year my hair has grown healthier than it was before I started to fix God?s point of view on my ideal hair color.

All in all, hair damage is usually caused not by environmental or natural reasons, but because we want to change the texture, type, or color of our hair without considering all pluses and minuses of such changes. Moreover, we often prefer to tell the stylist what to do, and not to listen to his/her advice as to what will best suit our hair health.

From my own experience I can tell that after I?ve started to:

  • use one shampoo without changing it often;

  • use hair conditioner to eliminate tangles and frizz;

  • apply only the coolest shot when blow drying;

  • apply only ceramic flat iron that moisturizes my hair;

  • never use chemicals to my hair, except the vital hair coloring once a month,

  • I?ve learned what healthy hair really is and how it flows down in smooth, shiny locks. It has finally given me the look I?ve always wanted to have, the one of my favorite Jennifer Aniston hair styles!

    Causes of Baldness

    To understand the reasons for baldness, it is first necessary to understand the fundamentals of hair loss. In fact, the shedding of hair is a natural and constantly ongoing process in all mammals (anyone who owns a cat can testify to this) and human beings are no exception. The fact that most hair loss occurs in the mornings is an interesting but inexplicable phenomenon.

    About 10% of all available hair on the scalp is, at any given time, in a state of dormancy that finally culminates in it?s shedding. This is natural and desirable, since it makes lace for new hair growth. It must be remembered that hair basically consists of dead cells yielded by natural processes, and that these cannot remain rooted permanently on the scalp. Any attempt to do this would be extremely detrimental.

    The problem is therefore not entirely one of hair loss. Though most people with advancing baldness display an accelerated rate of hair loss, the process itself is natural and will happen naturally with the process of aging. Unnatural reasons for hair loss can include the effects of major surgery, the disruption of hormonal levels due to thyroid dysfunction, ingestion of certain pharmacological agents such as ?clot busters?, chemotherapy in cancer patients, diabetes, severe hairstyles, and psoriasis. In females, the use of oral contraceptives can likewise result in excessive hair loss.

    An improper nutritional regimen can also cause considerable hair loss. Coupled with other contributing factors such as the use of certain medicines and abrasive hair grooming/coloring agents, this can certainly result in some degree baldness. This applies particularly the adherents of ?devil may care? lifestyles, in whom all these factors can combine into one single, vicious package.

    The genetic predisposition to lose hair is the cause of most cases of partial or complete baldness, and can unfortunately not be countered by modern science. With advances in genetic engineering, even this factor may be addressed some day.

    Retin A is an Effective Anti Aging Cream

    Continuous sun exposure can make a big difference to the body skin over the years. It brings lot of difference to the skin?s texture and appearance. One of the major effects of sunlight is the aging of the skin. Aging is characterised by wrinkles, sagging and discoloration. The skin gets thinner and dryer as one ages. In order to avoid aging it?s better to implement an anti aging skin care treatment program early on. One such treatment is ?surface treatment? with a medicine named Retin A. This Retin A is used as an anti aging cream. It?s a vitamin A-enriched cream that changes the cellular metabolism of the skin's surface and is used to combat fine facial wrinkles and saves from sun damage

    Retin A or Retinoic acid is made from vitamin A, a fat-soluble vitamin that is absorbed through the intestines and stored in the liver. Vitamin A plays a critical role in maintaining a healthy skin. It comes in the form of liquid cream or gel and is applied before going to bed. Apart from using it as an anti aging cream it is also found to be very effective for the treatment for Acne and helps in eliminating the scars and blemishes left by acne.

    It is recommended to use Retin A once a day and only on the affected portion. But before the usage of this medicine, it is suggested to follow some vital steps for finding successful results. The best time for applying Retin A is before bedtime. Before using this medicine, wash the skin with mild shop and dry the area and after that apply a thin film of Retin A to the affected and the surrounding area. But wash your hands immediately after its usage and avoid eye contact.

    It cannot be exactly predicted how Retin A works. But clinical studies think that it may somehow loosen the connections between the skin cells and at the same time enhance the growth of new cells which in turn eliminates the problem of Acne. At the same time, it affects the depletion and dispersion of melanin as well as thickening and strengthening the tissues resulting for a firm and wrinkle free skin.

    Its application may give mild stinging and a warm sense at the initial stage. On the other hand, dryness, scaling and redness may occur frequently. But if severe redness develops, a doctor should be notified immediately for it may be possible to start the therapy with a lower concentration. Besides it has been also found that some patients using Retin A developed an increased sensitivity to ultra violet rays of the sun resulting in sunburn. Therefore, it is advisable to use a sunscreen before exposing the skin to the sun.

    A lot of quality results are found using the medicine on a regular basis, in the proper way and for an adequate period of time. It is prescribed to both younger as well as older persons.

    The Pleasure Is In The Pillow

    Ask most people what is the most important thing when it comes to getting a good nights sleep, and they'll say the mattress. Because that's the thing that takes most weight of the body, many people think that the mattress is the thing to get right. True. But, as the man once said, only up to a point.

    The truth is that the mattress is important, of course. A bad mattress can lead to an aching back due to the back not having the correct support. But what is not readily recognized is the importance of the pillow. For such a small thing, it can make a big difference. The alignment of the neck during sleep is one of the things that makes the difference between feeling comfortable and sleeping well, and having aches and pains all night and hardly sleeping at all.

    But not all pillows are created equal. Each variety of pillow type has its advantages, and it pays to choose wisely to make sure you get the pillow that suits you.

    For people who have experience pain while sleeping, a foam pillow can be a good choice. Sometimes doctors recommend them for their ability to ease pain due to bad posture while sleeping. Foam pillows give a great deal more support than feather pillows, for instance. So for those with pain while sleeping, a foam pillow, could be the answer. But if you don't have a great deal of pain, then a foam pillow might be a little too hard for your body.

    So what other choices are there? Once type of pillow still very much in favor is the cotton pillow, or rather a pillow with a cotton filling as opposed to simply having a cotton pillow case.

    Cotton pillows are flatter than many other type of pillows. Many people swear by them, and believe that they enable the body to rest naturally. A tip... Cotton pillows should be replaced rather than being washed. The cotton will become compacted by the weight of the body. When washed the cotton can become quite hard, and can later become soaked with water and moldy. The good news is that cotton pillows are very inexpensive and so replacement is affordable.

    Down pillows are made from goose down. This provides a nice and soft feel. Down pillows are pretty expensive and some people believe the down doesn't provide proper support for the neck.

    Geese feathers are another choice. Feather pillows are soft but firmer than down. These types of pillows can last several years. Avoid machine washing a feather pillow, since the feathers will clump together and
    become uncomfortable.

    There's also the buckwheat pillow. This has become popular in the last few years. They have been used in the Far East for many years, and some believe they give excellent support.

    There's a huge choice of pillows nowadays, so there's no need to stay with the usual. Try a different pillow, and it may have more effect on your sleep than you ever imagined.

    By the way, one type of pillow now not very prevalent is the old-style Japanese pillow, once used by women to keep their elaborate hairstyles in place. This was made of wood and kept the head rigidly in lace. Good for the hairstle, but not easy on the neck!

    Fashionable and Stylish

    Fashion and style. What are they? Do they always go together? Do they mean one and the same thing? It?s hard to say. According to specialists in the field, fashion is actually a synonym for style or glamour. It has been agreed on the fact that fashion is a way of personal expression, and according to this criteria, one can be fashionable when he/she fits in this expression mode, or unfashionable, which would be the opposite. Fashion has manifestations in all the fields of human activity, that is when can speak about fashion when we refer to topics such as architecture, clothing, music, cosmetics, entertainment, forms of speech or even politics or technology. Anything in these fields can be described as being fashionable or not. When one speaks about materialism or trend s using the term ?fashion?, it can be associated with a negative meaning.

    Most people today perceive fashion as a term referring mostly to clothes. The beginnings of what we call fashion today did actually refer to clothes and they go back as far as the sixteenth century. However, it was only two centuries later that the real manifestations of fashion took place and it happened in Europe, among the wealthy upper classes. Fashion, just like any other manifestation of human activity, underwent major and continual changes, to the point where it is today, that is, being related to many fields of activities. Of course, it would be unjustified to assume that fashion is the same all over the world. First of all, fashion differs from one society to another. Then, within a certain society, there are a lot of factors which may influence fashion such as age or generation, social class, profession or occupation. Even the geography of certain regions may bring about differences in fashion among the people of the same society.

    But how does fashion change? Because we all know that constant change is what fashion is actually about. Everyone will agree that what is new now will soon become old, and the process goes both ways, that I what was once into fashion but is now considered to be old and obsolete will soon turn into something new again. Capitalism has brought along with its numerous good aspects some less appealing ones, such as waste. People buy things which are not necessary to them and consequently speed up the process of change as far as fashion is concerned. Young generations have much to do with this change in fashion as well, because they are always eager and willing to try interesting things, things that they haven?t experienced before, something new to be more precise.

    What made fashion so popular among people was actually the television. The moment fashion hit television, in the late 1960s and early 1970s, was the moment when the general population became interested in this aspect. And fashion magazines, websites or even fashion blogs were only one step away.

    Pretty much in the same way as fashion, style can refer to may things, from painting, music, literature, web design to linguistics or manners of addressing people. The very definition of style describes the term as a fashionable manner of doing things, which points out that style and fashion are very closely related. Not everything that is considered fashionable will also be regarded as stylish, which is why people should avoid turning into a fashion victim, one of those persons who will wear just about anything that?s seen as fashionable, no matter if it suits them or not, from hairstyles and piercing to clothes. It is true that today?s world and the society we live in have set some rules in what fashion and style are concerned, but these don?t always have to be strictly followed. Being a fashion victim will only turn you into one of the rest. If you want to be ahead at all times, what you must try is to define your own style and that will make you look your best.
